Ockenden International Prize (Ockenden International)
Ockenden International
Established in 1951 by three schoolteachers, Ockenden International began as the Ockenden Venture, one of the first refugee charities to be set-up in the aftermath of World War II. In 1999, the Ockenden Venture became Ockenden International, and concentrated nearly all its work overseas – in Sudan, Afghanistan, Cambodia, Pakistan, Iran and Uganda.
